Zhongshan Experimental Middle School is a public complete middle school, which is in charge of Zhongshan Education Bureau. The Art Class of Zhongshan Experimental High School has successively won the honors of Guangdong Provincial Advanced Collective of National Unity and Progress Model Work, Guangdong Provincial National Demonstration Ordinary High School, Guangdong Provincial Ordinary High School with Excellent Teaching Level, and Guangdong Provincial Moral Education Demonstration School.

Official website shows that the affiliated middle school of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the affiliated middle school of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts was formerly the affiliated middle school of Central South Academy of Fine Arts. There are 60 full-time teachers in the affiliated middle school, including 14 teachers with senior titles, 29 teachers with intermediate titles and 27 teachers with master's degree or above.
