First, strengthen teacher training and steadily improve the quality of teachers.
Talent is the key factor in the rise and fall of education, and the establishment of a team of teachers with excellent political and ideological skills and high professional quality is the foundation of school development. We attach great importance to teacher training. First, send more than 80 outstanding teachers to participate in the training of secondary vocational teachers in the province. The second is to organize the training of secondary vocational teachers in the city. On August 26th, the Municipal Vocational Education Center carefully organized the training of new syllabus and new textbooks for secondary vocational school teachers. Full-time teachers of Chinese, Mathematics, English, Computer and Moral Education in secondary vocational schools in the city, vice president in charge of teaching in vocational schools and director of academic affairs office, *** 12 10 people attended the training. Helping front-line teachers to learn and understand the new spirit and new measures of teaching reform in secondary vocational schools, getting familiar with and mastering new textbooks as soon as possible, and mastering the knowledge and skill structure of textbooks can guide students to use what they have learned to solve the basic problems of their own disciplines and majors, do a good job in teaching and improve the quality of education. The training is directly taught by the chief editor of the new national syllabus and new teaching materials, and the training level and scale are the highest in our city over the years. On August 27th, Handan Daily and August 28th, Handan Evening News both made special reports, which were well received by teachers. Third, the backbone teachers who take the school as the main body and participate in provincial and municipal training organize all-staff training. Through the training of all full-time teachers, they understand the new spirit and new measures of teaching reform in secondary vocational schools, get familiar with and master the new teaching materials and new syllabus as soon as possible, and lay a foundation for better education and teaching.
Two, the implementation of teaching practice, to achieve new results in counterpart assistance.
The quality of daily teaching management is an important symbol to measure the teaching quality of a school, and it is also the basis for the survival and development of vocational schools. All vocational schools thoroughly implement the teaching practices of vocational schools, and standardize and improve the school's rules and regulations. Every semester, the school checks whether the teaching plan of each subject conforms to the students' reality and whether the teaching methods and measures are effective. Every teacher is required to prepare lessons outside the week so as to prepare teaching materials, students and teaching AIDS. The academic affairs office and the teaching and research section of disciplines and specialties regularly check and check the situation of teachers' lesson preparation at any time. Our vocational education research room listens to push-door classes from time to time, and regularly holds demonstration classes in related disciplines. Organize mock exams in languages, mathematics, foreign languages and other disciplines. The implementation of unified proposition, unified grading standards, unified printing of test papers and unified examination organized by vocational schools in the whole city has greatly promoted the reform of classroom teaching and the improvement of teaching quality. Taking counterpart education as an example, in 2009, the reference number of vocational schools in the city was 4,775, an increase of10/5 over last year, and the number of online students reached 3,367, accounting for 15% of the total number of students in the province, an increase of 779 over last year. There are 542 undergraduate students online, accounting for 29% of the province's undergraduate students, an increase of 238 over last year. The top three schools with enrollment rate of ten thousand people are Wu 'an Vocational Education Center, Cixian Vocational Education Center and Quzhou Vocational Education Center. In particular, the enrollment of Wu 'an Vocational Education Center reached 1556, accounting for 7% of the province's plan, and the undergraduate enrollment reached 385, accounting for 20% of the province's undergraduate enrollment, which is unique not only in our city but also in the province.
Three, organize teachers' teaching and scientific research appraisal activities.
In order to promote the teachers of secondary vocational education in our city to carry out in-depth theoretical and practical research, promote the development of secondary vocational education in our city and make it unique, and improve the theoretical level of vocational and technical education, we held an activity of selecting and commending excellent teaching papers for secondary vocational education in Handan. After screening by various units, more than * * * 100 papers participated in the evaluation, 10 won the first prize, 20 won the second prize and 40 won the third prize.
In September, young and middle-aged teachers were encouraged to actively explore new teaching modes and methods to improve the professional quality and teaching quality of professional teachers. The Teaching Committee of China Vocational and Technical Education Association and Higher Education Press held a national teaching speech contest for secondary vocational schools. Through careful selection, eight teachers from our city participated in five professional competitions in calligraphy, clothing, English, animation and tourism on behalf of our province.
Fourth, the center's teaching and research activities are in-depth and solid, and teaching and research have reached a new level.
There are 1 1 central teaching and research groups in our city, which are distributed in 9 vocational schools and play an important role in the teaching and research work in the city. At the beginning of the year, guide the teaching and research groups of each center to make activity plans, determine the content of activities and review the feasibility of the plans. Supervise the teaching and research groups of each center to carry out activities in strict accordance with the plan. Each central teaching and research group has more than two activities this year, and standardized the central work and problems to be solved in each activity stage. Organize rich teaching and research activities, attend lectures, evaluate classes, invite people to do demonstration classes, visit and study in other places, and learn advanced research concepts and teaching methods in other places. In April, make preparations for the joint entrance examination of all subjects, and carefully organize the teaching and research groups of each center to make 3 ~ 5 sets of simulated test questions before the exam.
Five, the construction of school-based curriculum and school-based teaching materials, and comprehensively improve the quality of vocational education.
Further strengthen the curriculum construction of secondary vocational education, cultivate excellent courses and local characteristic teaching materials, organize the selection of excellent school-based teaching materials for secondary vocational education, and select two schools in our city, the Second Vocational Middle School and Quzhou Vocational Education Center, to participate in the provincial competition. The school-based textbooks "Basic Etiquette and Chinese Literacy" and "Office Automation Training" of Handan No.2 Vocational Middle School won the second prize.
Although great achievements have been made in the teaching and research management of vocational education in our city in 20xx, there are still some problems, mainly:
1. The teaching and research work in some schools is not deep enough, and the teaching and research activities are not planned, subjective and random, or even carried out, which seriously affects the improvement of teaching level.
