The school was founded in 1958, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Guangzhou Municipal Committee (58) No.47, and belongs to Guangzhou Construction Engineering Bureau, with Ke, a famous construction expert and then deputy director of Guangzhou Construction Engineering Bureau, as the principal. 196 1 year, due to the temporary economic difficulties of the country, the school was ordered to suspend classes in September. 1965, the school resumed running under the name of "Guangzhou Work-study Program No.1 Construction Engineering Technical School", and later used the names of "Guangzhou Work-study Program Secondary Technical School" and "Guangzhou Construction Engineering Vocational School". 1966 In the early summer, due to the influence of the Cultural Revolution, the school was paralyzed and was ordered to close in September 1968. On 1973, it was reopened in the name of Guangzhou Architectural Engineering School. At the beginning, I didn't have my own campus, so I had to borrow a corner of the enterprise to start a business. 1975 moved to Tangxi, Sanyuanli, Guangzhou to run a school (now 7 Shuibian Street, Sanyuanli Avenue, Guangzhou). In 2005, according to the spirit of the Notice of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Opinions on the Adjustment and Reform of Secondary Vocational Education in Guangzhou (Sui Fu No.200557), Guangzhou Construction Engineering School, Guangzhou Construction Engineering Technician School and Guangzhou Hydropower Technical Secondary School were integrated to form Guangzhou Construction Engineering Vocational School, which was under the centralized management of Guangzhou Education Bureau.
