The registration for the 2009 junior high school graduates' swimming option exam in Ningbo has recently ended. The exam will be held at Huamao Foreign Language School and Ningbo Swimming and Fitness Center in late August, and both test sites will hold the exam at the same time. Due to the lack of swimming facilities in most schools in our city, schools are not required to organize students to carry out swimming teaching (except for a few schools) for the time being, but students are encouraged to make full use of holidays, especially in summer, to study in swimming places with safety and health guarantees or participate in formal swimming training classes, and strive to master swimming skills. Schools should do a good job in system construction, safety education and strict management in swimming activities, and students are strictly prohibited from swimming in unsafe places such as rivers, lakes, streams and reservoirs.

It is understood that the full score of swimming test is still 10, boys can get full score after swimming in 3 minutes 100 meters, and girls can get full score after swimming in 3 minutes and 30 seconds 100 meters. The swimming test was conducted in a 25-meter swimming pool with lifeguards. Candidates should wear swimsuits and swimming caps. During the test, they should hold the pool wall from the starting point (not diving) and swim in any way. Candidates can use any turning action, but they must touch the wall of the pool to turn around, and the end point is when the end point touches the wall of the pool. During the swimming test, candidates are not allowed to hold supports such as waterway lines with their hands, touch the ground with their feet or use nasal congestion. The swimming test shall be conducted in accordance with the swimming referee regulations. Test scores are calculated according to the lower limit of candidates' scores. Candidates who have not completed 25 meters cannot be scored, and each person can only take the test once.

Note: (1) The swimming test was conducted in the 25m swimming pool with lifeguards. During the test, hold the pool wall and start from the starting point (no diving). Breaststroke is required for the first 25 meters, and swimming style is not restricted for the last 75 meters. Candidates can use any turning action, but they must touch the wall of the pool to turn around, and the end point is when the end point touches the wall of the pool. During the swimming test, candidates are not allowed to hold supports such as waterway lines with their hands, touch the ground with their feet or use nasal congestion.

(2) The swimming test shall be conducted according to the swimming referee regulations. Test scores are calculated according to the lower limit of candidates' scores, and candidates who have not completed 25 meters cannot score.
