Finance (international finance) and corporate finance (enterprise finance) belong to China Institute of Financial Development. Its nature is "Cai Zhong Finance International Project"-an experimental class of finance, which began to recruit undergraduates under the national plan in 2007. The experimental class fully draws lessons from the teaching system of world-class universities, adopts authoritative English textbooks in an all-round way, and emphasizes the study of basic theories of modern economics and the training of standardized economic methods. All courses are taught in English (the public courses offered by the school are taught in Chinese), so as to cultivate students' ability to communicate directly in English and enable them to conduct professional research and international academic exchanges in English. Through the international advanced teaching mode, the financial experimental class enables students to master the theoretical framework, methodology and analytical tools of economics and finance and the ability to analyze and solve practical problems in China's financial reform and development.
It should be noted that China Institute of Financial Development of Central University of Finance and Economics was established in 2006. It is the earliest academic institution engaged in high-end financial research and training senior financial talents in China, and it is a college integrating scientific research, teaching and training. Professor Robert Engel, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2003, was appointed as an honorary professor. At present, there are two full professors as academic leaders, one associate professor and twelve assistant professors, all of whom are outstanding talents who have returned to China after graduating from famous overseas universities.
Professionally, finance is more traditional, while the cultivation of finance (international finance) (corporate finance) is more westernized. On the employment trend, finance focuses more on state-owned banks, while international finance and corporate finance focus more on international financial institutions.
