What is the pmp exam?
Pmp examination is the qualification certification of project management professionals. Initiated by project management institute (PMI), it strictly evaluates whether the knowledge and skills of project managers have high-quality qualification examinations.

Its purpose is to provide unified industry standards for project managers. At present, more than 200 countries and regions around the world have established certification and examination institutions. Since 1984, Project Management Institute (PMI) has been committed to all-round development, and has maintained a strict examination-based expert qualification certification plan.

In order to promote the project management industry and confirm personal achievements in project management. PMP certification has been implemented in China since 1999, and the training center of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (China Foundation for International Talent Exchange) is entrusted by PMI to be responsible for the registration and examination organization of PMP certification in China.

PMP training in China is conducted by representatives authorized by PMI and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (China Foundation for International Exchange of Talents).

The requirements for PMP registration are as follows:

Candidates must have more than 35 hours of PMBOK study or training experience in project management, and produce copies of relevant certificates.

1, with a bachelor's degree or above, the applicant has at least 4,500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and the cumulative number of project management months has reached at least 36 months in the six years before the application date. (When calculating the project management month, the required 36 months are non-overlapping and separate. )

2. For those who do not have a bachelor's degree or equivalent university education, the applicant has at least 7,500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and has been engaged in project management for at least 60 months in the 8 years before the date of application.
