Clever marking
In addition to capital letters, time and year, superlative, turning sign, causal sign, enumeration, concession and strong contrast, coordinate conjunctions (such as and), semicolons, colons and words expressing the author's attitude should also be marked (this is more difficult and needs to be collected by yourself). I will say why in the following trade-offs.
Marking tip: Don't use only one marker (underlined below) or use too much. Personally, I think there are at most three (such as brackets, circles and underscores) to mark the reasons, turning points and others respectively, while I only use underscores and brackets myself.
"Reading" and "Not Reading" when Preparing for Review
The best way to review reading is not to read the article directly at first. After you have mastered a certain amount of words and strengthened the training of long and difficult sentences, you must concentrate on breaking through and strengthening review. That is, intensive reading 6-8 articles every day for about 2 weeks. The so-called intensive reading is to clearly understand the meaning of each sentence in the article and its role in the full text, as well as fully understand each option.
This is helpful for students to summarize the articles and the rules of setting questions. Scientifically and effectively master the problem-solving skills in GRE reading, and everyone will have a clearer thinking when preparing for the exam and doing the questions, and the speed and accuracy of doing the questions will also be improved accordingly.
Master the structure of the article
Reading long GRE articles is always the second place, while grasping the structure of GRE reading articles (including the type of articles, the relationship between paragraphs and even the relationship between sentences) and the attitude of the author are the first. Keep this in mind all the time when reading the article, and don't force yourself to understand the connotation of the article, otherwise it will cause psychological shadow and affect the solution of the problem.
word
Words should not only know the meaning, but also the implication, that is, the connotation. A word has both literal meaning and figurative meaning. The most typical word here is abstract word, which is the most brain-racking thing in reading. Compensate for, this phrase translates as compensation, but in reading, the meaning of for is often followed by an explanation, that is, sacrificing the former to achieve the purpose of the latter. If some core words still have obstacles, then your reading can't be smooth. Therefore, the word is closed.
