Cadre colleges refer to a large number of colleges established at or above the county level to meet the needs of cultivating cadres on a large scale and greatly improving their quality in the new period since the reform and opening up.

Cadre colleges can be divided into three categories:

One is the National Cadre College. There are more than 3,200 party schools at all levels, including China Pudong Cadre College, Jinggangshan Cadre College and Yan 'an Cadre College, National Propaganda Cadre College 1, and China Cadre Network College 1. One is the cadre college undertaken by the department. Including China Malan Cadre College, China Education Cadre Network College, China Environmental Management College, China Civil Aviation Management Cadre College, China Meteorological Bureau Meteorological Cadre Training College, China Tourism Management Cadre College, China Insurance Management Cadre College, China Customs Management Cadre College, China Petroleum Beijing Petroleum Management Cadre College, Shanghai Youth Management Cadre College, Central Cultural Management Cadre College, Ministry of Agriculture Management Cadre College, China National Management Cadre College, State Forestry Administration Management Cadre College, China Light Industry Management Cadre College, Nanjing Population Management College, etc. One is all kinds of cadre schools organized by various fronts, such as financial cadre schools, supply and marketing universities, bank cadre schools and so on.
