Although corporal punishment may achieve the purpose of stopping a certain behavior in a specific situation, it is difficult to change students' incorrect attitudes. Corporal punishment and disguised corporal punishment can only help students learn to avoid corporal punishment, instead of sincerely changing their attitudes and correcting their mistakes. This kind of corporal punishment and disguised corporal punishment are relatively ineffective.
2. It is difficult to form a good educational atmosphere. The corporal punishment of "setting an example" makes students behave cautiously, always defensive and afraid of teachers. This is not conducive to the formation of students' positive and diligent ideological quality, nor to the formation of civilized, harmonious and relaxed atmosphere in the class.
3. Corporal punishment and corporal punishment in disguised form will bring unnecessary anxiety to students. This is not conducive to the cultivation of students' healthy psychological quality, but will damage students' physical and mental health. Frequent corporal punishment will increase students' extreme aversion to corporal punishment, and students will be slow to respond to corporal punishment and gradually lose their sensitivity to corporal punishment. In order to achieve the ideal effect, teachers often have to increase the intensity of corporal punishment, which leads to a vicious circle of corporal punishment and the consequences of education are unimaginable.
4. Corporal punishment will also lead to tension between teachers and students, which will lead to conflicts and even confrontation between teachers and students. This not only damages teachers' social status and personality charm, but also violates the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC), the Law on Compulsory Education in People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Law on Teachers in People's Republic of China (PRC).
Second, the suggestion of avoiding teachers' corporal punishment of students.
Young students are the flowers of the motherland, and teachers are like gardeners who cultivate flowers diligently. Teachers should be a great and noble profession. The frequent incidents of teachers' corporal punishment of students make the construction of teachers' morality and style more urgent for everyone. In order to prevent teachers from corporal punishment of students, Bian Xiao suggested that the education department can take the following measures to strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and style, and it is strictly forbidden for teachers to corporal punishment of students.

At the same time, administrative departments and schools at all levels improve the rules and regulations of teacher management, attach great importance to teachers' mental health, solve teachers' work and life difficulties in time, and help and guide teachers to build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students and between home and school. It is necessary to accept the supervision of parents and society on schools and teachers by hiring teachers' morality supervisors, publishing the principal's mailbox, monitoring the telephone number of teachers' morality and style, and organizing regular education and teaching open days.
4. Standardize the assessment of teachers' morality, conscientiously implement the "one-vote veto system" of teachers' morality such as job promotion, job title evaluation and evaluation, and implement "zero tolerance" for teachers' corporal punishment, insults and violations of students, and never shield, shield or condone them. The law severely punishes teachers who physically punish students.
Article 37 of the Teacher Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) * * * If a teacher is under any of the following circumstances,
(a) deliberately not to complete the task of education and teaching, resulting in losses to education and teaching;
(two) corporal punishment of students, the education is invalid;
(three) bad conduct, insulting students, bad influence. The school, other educational institutions or the administrative department of education shall give administrative sanctions or dismissal.
