How to make shampoo with Gleditsia sinensis
You should have seen this kind of plant in the countryside. Its fruit is long and flat, and you always thought it was wild lentil when you were young.

Can you tell which one is lentil and which one is saponin in this picture?

In fact, this Gleditsia sinensis is not a wild lentil, but a Chinese medicine.

Pharmacological experiments show that saponins can increase respiratory secretion and produce expectorant effect; It also stimulates gastrointestinal mucosa to produce diarrhea, corrodes gastric mucosa and produces absorption poisoning; It can inhibit some gram-negative intestinal pathogens and some skin fungi.

Among them, soap particles can cook and appear in major hotels; Gleditsia sinensis powder, also known as electroplating cleaning agent, is a plant surfactant; Gleditsia sinensis peel is an industrial washing product; Gleditsia sinensis is a natural raw material for developing beauty products, and Gleditsia sinensis is a natural organic raw material for producing edible gum.

I don't know if you had the experience of washing your hair with Gleditsia sinensis as a child. At that time, there was no such advanced thing as shampoo. Mother washed our hair with acacia. (Did you accidentally expose your age? )

Method 1:

1. Brush Gleditsia sinensis with a toothbrush and soak it in boiling water. Too dry Gleditsia sinensis is not easy to swell, and it takes 2~3 days to swell completely.

2. Mash soaked Gleditsia sinensis. The higher the bubbles, the easier it is to mash. It's best to mash it with stones.

3. Gleditsia sinensis mud with 10 times of water is easy to foam after boiling. Before boiling water, turn on low heat, add some brown sugar (which helps beneficial microorganisms to ferment after storing the saponin solution), stir and cook for 10 minutes, and turn off the heat after the saponin solution becomes sticky;

4. Air cooling, filtering and bottling (preferably glass bottles or porcelain bottles). When the temperature is not low, try to keep it in the refrigerator. The first boiled solution of Gleditsia sinensis is strong, which is suitable for washing hair.

Method 2:

1. Mash the main raw materials such as Gleditsia sinensis, oilseed and Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. If you have a small hammer at home, you can break it with a small hammer, then rinse it with clear water and soak it in water for about half an hour.

2. Put the soaked materials into the pot. Do not use an iron pot, stainless steel pot or casserole. Add 3 times of water and heat over high fire.

3. After the water is boiled, simmer it with low fire. Pay attention to stirring when simmering, and be careful not to stick to the pot and burn it. Generally, it takes more than 5 hours to simmer;

4. After cooking, filter the dregs, put them aside to cool, and store them in the refrigerator in summer.

Method 3:

1. Wash 250g of Gleditsia sinensis, cut into pieces and remove the core, wash 250g of Sapindus mukoraiensis and remove the core, then put the leaves of Platycladus orientalis, Polygonum Multiflori Radix, Eclipta prostrata and Angelica sinensis *** 100g together in rice washing water for one day and one night (the water should be washed three times before the rice is cooked once, and water should be taken twice; Soak in rice washing water for the second time);

2. Put the rice washing water soaked in medicinal materials into a pot and boil it. After the fire boils, simmer for 15 minutes, and filter out the water;

3. Add half of the second rice washing water, repeat the first process, and then boil it with the remaining rice washing water for the third time.

4. Pour the third filtrate back into the pot and cook it with the dregs until the saponin is rotten, about 20 minutes, and the liquid is thick. Cool and filter.
