The training and research base of college counselors of the Ministry of Education is affiliated to the Ministry of Education. It not only undertakes training tasks, but also undertakes special research tasks. On the basis of teaching practice and scientific research, it provides decision-making consultation for the Ministry of Education and provincial education departments to formulate relevant policies, ensure that policies are in place reasonably, and strive to become a think tank to strengthen the construction of counselors and ideological and political education for college students. In July 2007, the Ministry of Education announced the first batch of 2 1 Ministry of Education college counselor training and research bases.
