The auctioneer qualification exam is not a post-training exam. China Auction Industry Association usually holds pre-exam training for auctioneers twice a year. But the exams are all held at the same time. The three written subjects are generally held on the third Saturday and Sunday of 10 every year, and the practical examination is generally held on the fourth Saturday and Sunday of1/0 every year.

The auctioneer qualification examination is a national qualification examination which is included in the national professional and technical personnel qualification series of the Ministry of Personnel according to the provisions of the Auction Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). Those who pass the auctioneer qualification examination can obtain the China auctioneer qualification certificate and practice according to law.
