Introduction of Manjianghong
"Looking forward to spring, spring will come again, peach blossom and apricot blossom, peach blossom and apricot blossom ..."

This beautiful and lyrical piece is the main theme of Four Hopes, one of the representative pieces of Rizhao Donggang folk music "Man Jiang Hong". "Man Jiang Hong" is a large-scale folk song suite and one of the five major tunes in southern Shandong. Its melody is exquisite and elegant, and it is known as "fine song" and "elegant song". It developed with folk production activities, and has been favored by the music industry for many years, with important historical and cultural value. Due to the changes of the times and people's production and living environment, "Manjianghong" has been in an endangered state. After digging and collecting relevant materials, the cultural department of Donggang District set up a protection organization, focusing on folk artists, conducted lectures, training and other activities, set up a heritage group, and strengthened the collation and protection. "Manjianghong" was listed as the first batch of intangible cultural heritage and the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list in Shandong Province by the Ministry of Culture.
