On-the-job training and professional training for county-level party and government leaders, leaders of agricultural departments and township cadres in charge of agricultural and rural work, and continuing education for senior and intermediate scientific and technological personnel in the agricultural system have achieved remarkable results and produced extensive social benefits and good reputation. Since 1979, the school has trained nearly 10,000 agricultural leading cadres, agricultural science and technology backbones and technicians at all levels. In the past two years, the school has changed its concept, actively explored new ideas for cadre education and training, and actively contacted the organization departments and business departments of party committees at all levels, and embarked on a new way of joint training. Sponsored by the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture and managed by the Central Agricultural Cadre Education and Training Center, it was included in the training plan of county-level agricultural leading cadres of the Central Organization Department and held a seminar on agricultural modernization in developed areas. It has held two training courses for county-level agricultural leading cadres in Jiangxi Province, two training courses for leading cadres in Binyang County, Guangxi Province and two training courses for leading cadres in Zijin County, Guangdong Province. Successfully held a one-year training course for outstanding rural youth in Zhuhai, and creatively designed a novel model of "training+self-study examination". Nanfang Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, Zhuhai Special Zone Daily, Guangdong TV Station and other news media all made special reports and gave high praise, which was considered as a powerful demonstration. This is also a beneficial attempt for the school to cultivate talents for rural grassroots, broaden training channels, broaden ideas and create fresh experiences. In addition, in cooperation with Hepu County, Guangxi, 98 adult students of rural grassroots cadres were recruited through the adult college entrance examination, and the cadre education and training model of "training+academic education" was tried; In 2004, the school reached a preliminary agreement with the Organization Department of Doumen District Committee of Zhuhai City, China, to jointly train 300 rural reserve cadres in three years, and select 100 cadres for training and study every year, so as to further practice the new model of "training+academic education" for rural grassroots cadres. In short, in the exploration of cadre education and training, we have found a new way to combine planning with market, short-term with medium-and long-term training, and academic education with non-academic education.
