Anhui Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general higher vocational college established with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government, focusing on higher vocational education, integrating higher vocational education, adult education and skills training, involving engineering, economics, management and other disciplines. The college is located in Tongling City, Anhui Province. Tongling, founded in 1956, is located in the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is one of the birthplaces of bronze civilization in China, and Huangshan Mountain and Jiuhua Mountain are close at hand. It is a typical garden city of Jiangnan water town. After 50 years of vigorous construction, especially the spring breeze of reform and opening up in recent 20 years, Tongling's per capita GDP, fiscal revenue, import and export trade volume, residents' income and other indicators have been at the forefront of Anhui Province, becoming a bright pearl in Wanjiang area.

The college currently covers an area of 443 mu, with a teaching, administrative and living building area of 65,438+255,000 square meters, a library of 226,800 books, 27 laboratories of various types and 22 practice and training bases. The college has a team of high-quality teachers with reasonable structure, diligence and dedication. There are 237 full-time and part-time teachers, including 58 associate professors or above, and more than 40% are "double-qualified" teachers. The college has five departments, including information engineering department, electromechanical engineering department, resource development department, management engineering department and foundation department, and has set up 37 majors, including computer application technology, software technology, mechatronics technology, numerical control technology, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, applied electronic technology, mold design and manufacturing, construction engineering technology, engineering measurement technology, accounting, logistics management and e-commerce. There are more than 6300 students in the college.

The college has successively won many teaching and research projects such as Modular Design and Practice of Electrical Technology Skills Training in Higher Vocational Colleges, 8 provincial teaching and research projects, 3 provincial key construction courses and other teaching achievement awards in Anhui universities. 10 A number of scientific research technologies have won national patents, and 8 application achievements have won scientific and technological progress awards in Anhui Province and Tongling City. Relying on the advantages of higher vocational education, the college has successively established cooperative relations with Tongling Nonferrous Metals (Group) Co., Ltd., Baosteel Group, Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Anhui Conch Co., Ltd., Changhe Aircraft Industry Group, Denso (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Audi Co., Ltd. and Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd., and set up professional plans and curriculum systems according to market demand in line with the school-running concept of "employment-oriented and ability-oriented".

The College has successively obtained eight series of education and training qualifications, including National Training Base for Highly Skilled Talents, National Vocational Skills Appraisal Station, National Cambridge English Training Institute, Anhui Professional and Technical Personnel Continuing Education Base, Anhui Business Administration Training Base and IT Certification (CEAC, Cisco Network College and Huawei Network College). The annual training assessment scale reaches 5000 person-times.
