1. China Criminal Police College is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. It is an undergraduate college directly under the Ministry of Public Security, a training base for technical reconnaissance cadres of the Ministry of Public Security, a training base for anti-drug police of the Ministry of Public Security, a "backbone training base for criminal investigation of the security department of the whole army" determined by the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and a garden-style unit in Liaoning Province. It is known as "Police Tsinghua", "the highest institution of criminal police in China" and "the cradle of Oriental Sherlock Holmes".
2. Liaoning Public Security Judicial Management Cadre College was established in 1948.
