It is not unreasonable that the seaman's certificate is called four certificates. Because the previous training needs to learn the basic safety of Z0 1, Z02 is proficient in boats and rafts, Z07 safety awareness and Z08 safety responsibilities.

Not learning Z02 will not affect interns' work on the ship. If they want to engage in navigation for a long time, they can arrange to study Z02 as soon as possible.

According to the Provisions of the Ministry of Transport on Amending the Rules for Competency Examination and Certification of China People and Seagoing Crew (Order No.8 of the Ministry of Transport No.2017), which came into effect on April 5, 20 19 10.

1. Sailors on duty, mechanics on duty, waiters, cooks and other crew members of all ships. The mechanic/sailor on duty is not required to have Z02, so many schools don't teach Z02 in training now.

2. Failure to learn the Z02 certificate will not affect newcomers to board the ship, and Z02 is unnecessary; You only need to get a high certificate or an officer in Z02, which is at least two years away from you. You can learn from it. Generally 02 will be included in the officer's course.

In addition, Z02 needs at least 6 months internship qualification (qualification after passing the training exam of Z02) to be redeemed.
