Syringa pinnata, deciduous shrub, 1-3m high. Odd pinnate compound leaves, leaflets 7-9, apex acute or acuminate. Panicle lateral, with white or pink flowers. Unique to China. Sporadic distribution in Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Qinghai, born in the sunny shrub or coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest with low canopy density at an altitude of 2000-3 100 m, it is an endangered species under national third-class protection.
