Sichuan Dazhou Traditional Chinese Medicine School is located in Dazhou, the capital of China, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. Founded in 1967, the school is a public full-time general secondary school, the only Chinese medicine school in Sichuan Province, and one of the ten secondary health schools with Chinese medicine enrollment qualifications.
With the attention of the municipal government, Southwest College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period.
The school has Chinese medicine, nursing, pharmacy, Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine pharmacy, Chinese medicine rehabilitation and health care. There are five-year junior college, three-year secondary school, adult education and junior college.
There are more than 4,000 students, more than 3,000 other trainees, and more than 200 on-the-job teaching staff, including 50 deputy chief physicians and senior lecturers, and more than 60 attending physicians and lecturers, forming a teaching team with reasonable age structure, wide professional categories and rich teaching experience.
The school integrates teaching, clinic and scientific research. Dazhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dazhou Health Cadre Training School are located in the school. At the same time, there is an affiliated hospital and a computer training department, which are the test sites of Sichuan Computer Rank Examination. The school is jointly run by Luzhou Medical College, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Sichuan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is a teaching point in Dazhou.
The school has established a complete laboratory and teaching practice hospital.
