Brief introduction of Jiangxi ceramic arts and crafts vocational and technical college
Jiangxi Institute of Art and Ceramics Technology, located in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and established by the Ministry of Education for the record. It is also a national ceramic training base for primary and secondary schools, a non-genetic inheritance base for arts and crafts masters in China, a demonstration vocational college in Jiangxi Province, and a pilot college in Jiangxi Province to jointly train applied undergraduate talents.
The national high-quality vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province, the high-level vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province and the specialty construction projects with advantages and characteristics were selected into the national "Hundred Schools Project". Jiangxi Vocational College of Ceramic Arts and Crafts, formerly known as Jiangxi Ceramic School, was founded in 1958. 1996, the school added the school card of Jiangxi Arts and Crafts School.
In 2002, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college with its current name. 20 10 was approved as a model higher vocational college in Jiangxi province, 20 15 was established as a pilot college for jointly cultivating applied undergraduate talents in Jiangxi province, 20 17 was established as a project construction unit of national high-quality higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi province, and 20 18 was established as a high-level higher vocational college and an advantageous specialty construction project unit in Jiangxi province.
As of February, 2023, the planned area of the school is 1408 mu, and the first phase is 800 mu, with a construction area of 280,000 square meters. In 2020, school students won 1 first prize, 5 second prizes and 3 third prizes in the skill competition of vocational colleges in the province.
