What's the difference between the economics double degree of Peking University School of Economics and the economics double degree of International Development Research Institute?
In order to meet the growing demand of society for talents with "thick foundation, wide caliber and high quality", the National Development Research Institute of Peking University (formerly China Economic Research Center) began to set up a double-degree minor in economics for non-economics majors in Peking University from 65438 to 0996. Under the care of school leaders and all parties, the double-degree program of economics has been welcomed by the majority of students with its scientific curriculum system, first-class teachers and standardized teaching services, and has become the largest undergraduate program in Peking University.

In more than ten years, the double-degree program of economics has developed rapidly, and it has become increasingly mature in curriculum system, teaching and educational administration, scholarship arrangement, employment information service and so on. It earnestly insists on enriching students' academic background, promoting interdisciplinary exchanges and cooperation, especially aiming at improving students' comprehensive ability and competitiveness in the increasingly fierce job market, and solidly improving the quality and level of the project.

Since the autumn of 2003, in order to meet the needs of off-campus students studying economics, double-degree programs have begun to recruit students.

At present, the double-degree program in economics is very famous both inside and outside Peking University, and there are 2876 students of all kinds studying this academic year.
