Introduction to Taishan Vocational College of Nursing Our college was formerly known as Shandong Taian Health School, which was founded in 1956. In 2003, it was rated as a national key secondary school, and was upgraded to Taishan Nursing Vocational College on 20 1 1. The college covers an area of 530 mu and has two campuses, old and new. The hospital is divided into five areas: teaching area, office area, sports area, experimental training area and living area. The college offers medical education in higher vocational colleges (ordinary higher vocational colleges in the beginning of high school, counterpart higher vocational colleges in the beginning of secondary vocational schools, and five-year higher vocational colleges in the beginning of junior high school), and offers seven majors: nursing, midwifery, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation technology, health information management, elderly service and management, and pharmacy. The total construction area of the campus is1.4000 square meters, the collection of books is 31.3900 volumes, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 30399. In recent years, in order to meet the training needs of nursing talents, our hospital has set up five directions: foreign-related nursing, traditional Chinese medicine nursing, elderly nursing, community nursing and oral nursing. Our college adheres to the teaching policy of paying equal attention to theory and skills, attaches importance to the teaching of theoretical knowledge and the cultivation of practical skills, and takes various measures to cultivate skilled talents urgently needed by society. 20 13 approved by China international talent exchange association, Taishan international nurse training base was established in our hospital.
