Wang Huiran, a native of Zhenhai County, Zhejiang Province, was born in Shanghai in June 1936+ 10.

Wang Huiran loved folk music since childhood. /Kloc-Since the age of 0/3, he has taught himself Pipa, Qin Yue and other national musical instruments, and participated in performances such as Pingtan, Yue Opera, Jiangnan Sizhu, Shandong Liuqin Opera and Beijing Opera, laying a solid foundation for national folk music.

1953, Yue Opera fever swept through China. Wang Huiran and his companions organized "Yin Xin Yue Opera Music Troupe", and was admitted to Shan County Yue Opera Troupe in 1955.

On the basis of traditional pipa techniques, Wang Huiran creatively used the food, middle, nameless and pinky wheels to play the outer strings, and freed his thumb to play the inner strings to produce polyphonic effect, which became a new technique "four-fingered wheel", further expanding the expressive force of pipa. In April 2006, Wang Huiran was admitted to the Cultural and Art Troupe of Beijing Public Security Force as a pipa soloist. The regiment attached great importance to his training, and hired Professor Li from Harbin Art Institute to teach him to learn pipa, which lasted for half a year and laid a good foundation. Its performance is full of passion and delicate handling.

From 65438 to 0957, Wang Huiran went to Moscow with China Art Troupe to attend the 6th World Youth Student Festival. His pipa solo has won wide acclaim from friends in the Soviet Union and other countries for its exquisite skills and unique style. Moscow Radio recorded his performances "House of Flying Daggers", "Chun Xue" and "The First Frontier Song" and China's first multi-voice pipa solo and his new work "Dancing under the Moon", which gained a good reputation.

Beautiful tunes have been heard all the time and spread widely, becoming a compulsory repertoire for pipa players. Its appearance is of great significance to the creation of pipa music, the innovation of playing techniques and the development and expansion of the playing range of pipa solo music. Later, he created pipa solos such as March in Jiangnan and Golden Age.

At the end of 1958, the first three-string tenor Qin Liu was successfully trial-produced. The range is widened from narrow to wide, and the timbre is lightened from boring noise. It becomes a treble plucked instrument with easy tuning and strong graininess, which solves the problem that the plucked music part of the national orchestra obviously lacks treble instruments. Later, he participated in the production of four-string tenor Qin Liu, which made Qin Liu rise to the status of a solo instrument. His reform achievements won the "first prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Culture".

Wang Huiran served as the judge of the Ministry of Culture 1982 National Folk Instrumental Music Solo Observation Conference, 1988 Second National Children's Folk Instrumental Music Competition, 1988 Art Cup of China Musical Instrument International Competition and 1989 China Sixth Works (Folk Music) Competition.
