This subject has good scientific research conditions, including six professional laboratories, such as digital behavior observation room, EEG laboratory, EEG biofeedback laboratory and data processing center. This discipline has a good international academic exchange background and foundation, and has established long-term cooperation and academic exchange relations with many universities and research institutions in the United States, Britain, Canada, Finland, Japan and other countries, and has completed and is conducting cooperative research on many topics. Every year, many famous experts in developmental and educational psychology at home and abroad come here to give lectures or conduct cooperative research. In August 2004, relying on this discipline, the 62nd annual meeting of the International Council of Psychologists was successfully held. In the past five years, researchers in this discipline have undertaken dozens of national, provincial and ministerial key projects and international cooperation projects, published 247 papers and published 8 monographs/kloc-0, and won 7 national and provincial and ministerial awards. In some fields, such as the development of aggressive behavior, the psychological and social development of school bullying and teenagers, the research of this discipline has always maintained a leading position in China. The main research direction of this subject is: adolescence is the transition period from individual children to adults, and it is also a unique stage of life development. In recent years, researchers in this field have conducted in-depth research on China teenagers' sense of family obligation, parent-child relationship, self-identity and future development, and achieved fruitful results. In the past five years, researchers in this direction have undertaken more than 20 international cooperation projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, published more than 20 papers and research reports in core academic journals such as Journal of Psychology and Psychological Science, and published 6 academic monographs such as Adolescent Psychology. Established a young, United and enterprising academic group. Our research work in the field of adolescent development has a good foundation, and we can carry out high-level research, which is expected to make positive contributions to promoting the research on adolescent development in China.
At present, researchers in this direction have carried out systematic research in the fields of adolescent benign stress and countermeasures, the present situation and development countermeasures of adolescent sex education, the psychological quality of middle school students, the characteristics and cultivation of adolescent sound personality, the psychological causes of adolescent internet addiction and its intervention, and initially revealed the characteristics of adolescent social psychological development under the current social and cultural background in China, as well as the influence mechanism of China traditional culture and current social changes on adolescent development. The research results have attracted the attention of international psychologists. With the rapid development of society and the increasing social competition, psychological problems have become a hidden killer that plagues modern people's lives. A large number of studies show that the incidence of psychological problems and suicide rate in the population are increasing year by year. It is predicted that after entering 2 1 century, all kinds of mental health problems in China will become more prominent. In the predicted social burden of diseases in 2020, mental health problems will still rank first. This phenomenon is global. In view of this, the World Health Organization (WHO) designated the first year of the new century (200 1) as the year of mental health, and designated the annual 10 as the World Mental Health Day, in order to warn mankind that the primary problems that plague mankind in the new century may no longer be diseases, poverty and backwardness in science and technology, but their own mental state. Some people even say that whether human beings like it or not, they are ruthlessly entering the "mental age" and facing the severe challenges of the mental age. In this era, the society urgently needs a large number of psychological counseling and treatment personnel and institutions to solve practical problems and improve people's quality of life and health. However, influenced by historical traditions, the number of people engaged in psychological counseling in China has been far from meeting the needs of society for a long time, and the professional quality and level of employees are uneven, with many problems. Therefore, it is urgent to train a large number of psychological counselors with professional knowledge and skills.
At present, this direction has cooperated with Shandong Prison Administration to develop the software "Psychological investigation and intervention of criminals' escape suicide", which has been appraised by the Ministry of Justice and used in many prisons across the country. Researchers in this direction are developing a mental health test system for primary and secondary school teachers and students; Constructing community psychological assistance system; Setting up psychological counseling clinics in primary and secondary schools has produced good social repercussions and benefits. Personality assessment and human resource development are new research fields and directions of management science and psychology in recent years, and they belong to the interdisciplinary subjects of personality psychology and organizational behavior. It has been well developed and paid attention to abroad, and started late in China, but it has a good development momentum. At present, this direction has made remarkable achievements in the fields of personality assessment, subjective well-being of urban and rural residents, basic theory of personality psychology, cognitive style, and collective efficiency of primary and secondary school teachers, and some of them are at the leading level in China.
At present, researchers in this research direction are cooperating with many enterprises and institutions, public security, justice, safety, medical and health departments, and have good development prospects. The leader of this discipline put forward the research idea of experiential subjective well-being measurement, systematically studied the structure of China people's subjective well-being for the first time in China, and compiled the first set of scale and local norm for measuring China residents' well-being. The research results are at the leading level in China. At the same time, the staff in this direction also carried out research on the confidence index of urban and rural residents and the mentality of employees in state-owned enterprises. , and reported to Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China in the form of "public opinion summary", which was highly valued by relevant departments. The main representative of the decision-making management school is herbert simon, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics. He believes that "management is decision-making". In today's fierce market competition, both enterprises and individuals often face complex decision-making problems. Good decision-making can make the development of enterprises or individuals achieve great success, and bad decision-making will definitely lead to failure.
The research direction of the two disciplines of applied psychology is management and decision-making, which mainly studies the decision-making psychology and behavior of individuals and groups in the management process, not only discussing the decision-making under certain conditions, but also studying the decision-making behavior under uncertain conditions; Pay special attention to the psychological analysis of decision-making behavior and the psychological factors affecting decision-making. This direction not only studies decision-making theory, but also studies decision-making methods. The research results in this direction are not only of great theoretical significance to the development of management science in China, but also of great practical significance to solving many complicated practical decision-making problems. In western developed countries, especially the United States, community psychology was founded in the middle of last century. The Department of Community Psychology is the largest psychology department at present, and has accumulated a large number of theoretical systems and achievements on community psychology. Western community psychologists have long paid attention to people's peer groups, neighbors, community atmosphere and social norms, and realized the role of community in preventing efficiency problems. At the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century, people began to pay attention to the influence of social group variables, such as the relationship between community collective efficiency, social integration, urban chaos and crime rate. Since 1990s, there have been some theoretical and empirical studies on community psychology in China, but they lack systematicness and continuity.
It is of great significance and solid foundation to set up the research direction of "community psychology research" in China. First of all, the establishment of urban community is a recent thing, and how to establish a harmonious community is urgent. Psychology should play its due role, especially in establishing community psychological assistance system. We cooperated with Jinan Association for Science and Technology, and selected Erqi Community and Ganshiqiao Community to carry out joint research on topics such as community environment and adolescent growth, community support and happiness of the elderly, community harmony and family problem intervention, and achieved certain results. The research direction is to solve the common psychological problems and family problems of residents; Promote the construction of community culture and spiritual civilization from the psychological level; Improve the collective efficiency of community residents; Promote the sustainable development of the community and society. Today's society is in an era of change, and fierce competition is everywhere. The competition in the field of natural selection and survival of the fittest is very prominent, especially after China's entry into WTO. If you want to stand out from the fierce competition and be invincible, you must do a good job in career design. Since 1999, the number of college graduates in China has increased from1450,000 in 2002 to 4.95 million in 2007, and the Ministry of Education has designated 2007 as the year of comprehensive employment service for graduates. In the process of transition from planned economy to market economy, China's employment system has changed from unified distribution to self-employment, which is undoubtedly a challenge for a new generation of college students. Everything is established in advance, and it is abolished if it is not foreseen. Studies have shown that college students who can actively plan their career development are more likely to find jobs consistent with their majors after graduation, and are less likely to lose their jobs. Under the surging tide of employment and fierce competitive pressure, it is not only the responsibility of the government, but also an important and arduous task for educators to make college students take fewer detours in the process of job hunting, find jobs smoothly, give full play to their potential in employment, realize their own life value and succeed, and reduce the waste of human capital of employers and countries. According to the experience of career counseling in developed countries, there is one career counselor for every 3,000 professionals. Career counseling is a new industry in China. China, with a population of 654.38+300 million, has a huge demand for career counselors. Under this background, colleges and universities in China urgently need to train a group of professionals with professional knowledge and skills who are competent for career planning and guidance.
The two disciplines of applied psychology have added the direction of "career planning guidance" to train high-level career planning researchers and instructors in a planned and step-by-step manner, which conforms to the requirements of the development of the times and social reality and has broad development prospects and important social significance.
