How to train new nurses
The methods of training new nurses are as follows:

1, pre-job training:

Nurses should receive intensive training before entering clinical posts, including theoretical contents and basic skills such as hospital culture, career and personal development, and occupational safety.

The goal of pre-job training is to help new nurses understand the history, general situation, present situation and development of the hospital, and master the service tenet, core values, rules and regulations of the hospital and the responsibilities of nursing staff at all levels.

In addition, we must master the prevention methods of nursing adverse events, the measures and monitoring methods to prevent hospital infection, and the medical laws and regulations such as the Nurses' Regulations and the Nurses' Code.

2, rotation department training:

After entering the N0 level, new nurses need to rotate in a department of internal medicine and a department of surgery for half a year, during which they will receive training from the rotating departments. The training content is mainly practical training for new nurses' basic knowledge and skills.

Each department should make training plans and assessment plans according to the training requirements of the hospital, and strictly implement them as planned after being audited by the nursing department. In order to ensure the training effect, we adopt the form of one-on-one teaching, and learn in practice by attending small lectures and teaching rounds in departments.

3. University level training during rotation:

Mainly during the rotation period, the college nurses are given centralized theoretical teaching and three skills training, with the aim of consolidating the knowledge of school learning and supplementing the new clinical progress.

4, hierarchical training:

According to the different levels and abilities of new nurses, hierarchical training is carried out. For example, for N0-N 1 nurse, the training objectives include having a good nurse image and behavior, being able to independently complete various nursing work in the department as required, and especially being able to work independently for N0-N 1 nurse.

The training content mainly includes familiarizing with the configuration and layout, work system and work flow of each department. , and master the clinical manifestations, evaluation points, treatment principles and nursing measures of common diseases in colleges. For N2 nurses, the training goal is to take care of critically ill patients and provide holistic care for patients.

Actively participate in and organize ward rescue, become the backbone of ward, improve education and management ability, and gradually reach the level of competent nurses.

5, theoretical examination and skill assessment:

Regular theoretical examination and skill assessment are conducted for new nurses to evaluate their knowledge and skill level. These evaluations can be once a month or once every three months, depending on the requirements of the hospital.

6, clinical practice:

Through clinical practice, new nurses can gain practical work experience and skills. They can do some simple nursing work under the guidance of senior nurses and gradually assume more responsibilities.

7. Continuing education:

Encourage new nurses to participate in continuing education activities organized by hospitals, such as seminars, lectures or online courses. This can help them understand the latest nursing practice and technology.

8. Feedback and evaluation:

Give regular feedback and evaluation to new nurses to help them understand their strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to continuously improve their nursing skills and quality.

1, business level assessment:

Including theoretical knowledge, training, work performance and professional ethics of nursing specialty.

2, hierarchical assessment:

Including being familiar with and mastering the basic nursing theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of this major, and being able to correctly execute the doctor's advice; Skilled basic nursing skill operation and professional nursing skill operation ability; Have the ability to observe and judge common diseases and critical patients in this major and the ability to cooperate with rescue.

Write nursing records according to the regulations, observe the patient's physical and mental state, find out the change of the condition in time, notify the doctor in time in case of emergency and assist the doctor to deal with and rescue the nursing.

3, work performance appraisal:

Able to perform their duties conscientiously; Adhere to the daily work, complete the tasks of each class according to the regulations and requirements, and ensure the quality of work; Can actively participate in and complete all mandatory work.

4. Training evaluation:

Nurses should receive regular training, complete the task of continuing education according to the regulations, obtain the required credits, and complete other training tasks stipulated by the administrative department of health.
