The school has been successively rated as "Green School in Guangzhou", "Smoke-free School in Guangzhou", "Advanced Unit of Moral Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in Tianhe District", "Second Prize for the Quality of Running Junior Middle Schools in Tianhe District", "Advanced Collective in Guangzhou" and "Excellent League Branch in Tianhe District" by provinces, cities and districts. Teachers have published many papers in national, provincial and municipal magazines. There are also five teachers who undertake municipal open classes.

The school participated in two national-level projects, namely "Research on Popularization of New Basic Education" hosted by the professor and "School-based Training Experiment" hosted by Professor Jiang, which were highly praised by experts, reflecting the guiding ideology of the school of "promoting scientific research education with research schools".

The school is a roller skating school. The 20 12 National Roller Skating Championship was successfully held in this school. In 20 13, the men's and women's roller skating teams of Jingjun Middle School both won the national roller skating championship in 20 13. And in 20 13, Jing Jun Middle School Men's Roller Skating Team represented China Junior Roller Skating Team in the United States to participate in the World Roller Skating Championships.

The school also won the junior middle school champion of the 4th Guangdong Roller Skating Championship in February 20 15. The roller skating featured projects are fruitful!
