Examination process of cardiopulmonary resuscitation
The procedure of cardiopulmonary resuscitation operation check is as follows:

1. Check security.

Confirm the safety of this part to ensure that you and the patient will not be further hurt. Call the local emergency number immediately and tell them your address and status.

Assess consciousness and breathing.

Shake the patients gently, call their names loudly and ask them if they are all right. Check whether their breathing is normal. If the patient is unresponsive, not breathing, or only intermittent superficial breathing, they may be in a state of cardiac arrest.

Step 3 do chest compressions

Place the patient on a hard and smooth surface. Stand next to the patient and fold your palms in the center under the patient's sternum. Cross your fingers and press down on your chest hard, with a depth of at least 5 cm each time, and the frequency is 100- 120 times/minute.

practise artificial respiration

Stop pressing the chest after each press, tilt your head back, open the patient's mouth and explore whether there is any foreign body. Then hold the patient's nostril, cover the patient's mouth with your own mouth, and perform artificial respiration for effective intubation and ventilation twice.

5. Continue cardiopulmonary resuscitation cycle.

Continue to circulate 30 chest compressions and 2 artificial breaths until the emergency personnel arrive at the scene or the patient regains consciousness and breathes normally.

The importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation:

1. Quick response

When cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest is found, call emergency personnel as soon as possible to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Press the chest

Use the correct technique to perform chest compressions at an appropriate speed and depth. The depth is at least 5cm, and the frequency is 100- 120 times per minute.

Keep open

Ensure that the patient's airway is unobstructed when pressing. Lift the patient's head and neck to remove foreign bodies from the mouth.

4. Respiratory rescue

If you are trained and familiar with the operation, you can consider giving artificial respiration to the patient. After every 30 compressions, give artificial respiration twice.

Use automated external defibrillator (AED).

If the equipment is available, use AED for electric defibrillation as soon as possible. Follow the operating instructions of the AED.

6. Continue cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Continue cardiopulmonary resuscitation and maintain the circulation of blood and oxygen until the arrival of emergency personnel.

7. Avoid interruptions

Try to avoid unnecessary interruption and maintain continuous and effective cardiac compression and respiratory rescue.

8. Transfer treatment

Once the emergency personnel arrive, the patient will be handed over to a professional medical team for further treatment and rescue.
