Today is the second day I just studied with you. I listened to two Chinese teachers at Wendelu Primary School. The two teachers have their own characteristics. Although the style is different, it is equally wonderful! Both classes are like running water, but after class, I still feel intoxicated in the classroom, wanting more. I think: I am so happy to be a student of Mr. Chen or Mr. Situ.
The two teachers didn't use too many fancy things to add color to the classroom, but through their own careful design, they really guided the students to study actively with enthusiasm, which fully stimulated the potential of the students. Mr. Chen created a context for students that points directly at the heart and blends into the text, guiding students to read in various forms, reading as a means to understand articles, reading as a means to understand feelings, reading as a means to learn expression, combining reading with writing, and guiding students to turn stable language into poetry.
Teacher Stewart showed me the class of culture and thinking. Children express their ideas and ways in different ways. Teachers have profound cultural background, and classes are generated on demand. Both teachers' classes are focused, and both of them apply the concept of "reading teaching" to their own classroom practice, which truly embodies "practice sees true knowledge". It's really amazing!
