Children are the future of the motherland and the hope of the family. In this digital age, it is particularly important to protect children's eyesight. Changsha Jingjing Children's Vision Rehabilitation Center reminds you that food is a natural treasure to protect children's vision!

Foods rich in calcium

In order to prevent myopia, let children eat more foods rich in calcium! Calcium is the "guardian" of the eyes. Kelp, shrimp, milk, cheese, peanuts, egg yolk, bean products and spinach are all good sources of calcium. Don't forget to supplement calcium for pregnant mothers to lay a solid foundation for the baby's bright eyes!

A good source of riboflavin

Don't forget to let your child get enough riboflavin! This nutrient can protect the normal metabolism of cornea and retina. Grains, lean meat, yeast, eggs, milk, lentils and cheese are all good sources of riboflavin.

A rich source of vitamin a

Vitamin A is very important for the health of eyes. It can prevent corneal dryness and softening and enhance night vision. Chicken liver, duck liver, goose liver, egg yolk, milk and goat milk are all rich sources of vitamin A.

A good helper of vitamin c

Vitamin C can eliminate or relieve eye fatigue, so that children can keep clear vision in study and entertainment. Tomatoes, meat, red dates, potatoes, kiwis and oranges are all good helpers of vitamin C.

Chromium-rich food

Chromium is also a key element to protect eyes. When the chromium content in children drops, it may lead to myopia. Let children eat more foods rich in chromium such as brown rice, brown sugar, corn, fish, shrimp and carrots, and add a protective cover to their eyes!
