Old Pozi Street section:
According to the records of Hua Shan County, Tongzhi County in Qing Dynasty, this street was named because of its steep terrain. Pozi Street was divided into three parts in the old society: Shangpozi Street, Xiapozi Street and Hengpozi Street. Shangpozi Street is relatively flat; Xiapozi Street, with a steep slope, is mostly pushed up and down the stairs by bicycle.
Hengpozi Street is a small street extending southward from the middle of Shangpozi Street, which is about 300 meters long and T-shaped with Pozi Street, hence the name Hengpozi Street. The three Pozi Streets have their own characteristics. Now, Laopozi Street has disappeared.
