First, the enrollment scale
Last year, the enrollment plan for doctoral students in our school was 450 (including 52 doctors with professional degrees/kloc-0). The actual enrollment scale of doctoral students in 2022 is based on the number of national documents approved and released in that year.
Second, the enrollment method
The enrollment methods include undergraduate direct doctoral degree, master's degree and doctoral degree, "application-assessment" system and unified recruitment.
Undergraduate Direct Blog: It is a way to directly select doctoral students for outstanding undergraduate graduates who have obtained the qualification of recommending exemption from examinations inside and outside the school. Undergraduate direct enrollment is arranged in the annual enrollment stage of tuition-free students.
Master students and doctoral students who have completed the prescribed courses, achieved excellent results, and have strong innovative spirit and scientific research ability are the enrollment methods for selecting doctoral students on the basis of merit.
"Application-assessment" system: refers to the enrollment method that the candidates who meet the relevant requirements of the training unit pass the qualification examination of the training unit and are directly assessed by the training unit.
Ordinary recruitment: refers to the recruitment method that the training unit selects doctoral students through examinations for those who meet the registration conditions.
Third, the application conditions
(1) Basic conditions for ordinary recruitment:

2. 3. Physical and mental health status conforms to relevant regulations.
4. It must meet the relevant requirements formulated by each training unit according to the characteristics of the discipline and the training objectives of talents.
5. There must be at least two professors (or experts with the same title) in disciplines and professional fields.
6. Applicants with the same academic qualifications must complete the main courses of master's degree graduate students with the same or similar majors (there must be a certificate of completion or a course study certificate and results provided by the graduate management department of the learning unit), and must meet one of the following conditions:
(1) won the provincial and ministerial second prize and above related to the reported major (referring to the provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress award, natural science award, invention award and outstanding achievement award in social science), ranking first or second;
(2) Having a senior professional title and publishing at least three academic papers related to the applied major independently or as the first author in domestic core journals or international journals in the past five years.
7. To apply for a doctor's degree in clinical medicine, in addition to meeting the basic conditions, you must also meet the following conditions:
(1) has obtained the qualification of practicing western medicine;
(2) Undergraduate and master majors are full-time clinical medicine majors;
(3) Master's degree certificate and degree certificate have been obtained (fresh graduates must obtain a master's degree before entering the school);
(4) Graduates of this year's master's degree must obtain the certificate of standardized training for residents before they can enter the school;
(5) Previous students must have the title of attending physician or above or pass the standardized training and assessment of residents nationwide before taking the exam.
8. To apply for a doctorate in stomatology, in addition to the basic conditions, you must also meet the following conditions:
(1) has obtained the qualification of dental practitioner;
(2) The undergraduate and master majors are full-time stomatology majors;

9. The requirements and measures for active servicemen to apply for doctoral students shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army.
10. The doctoral enrollment policy for applying for "high-level backbone talents of ethnic minorities" and "backbone of ideological and political work in colleges and universities" shall be implemented in accordance with relevant national policies.
(2) Candidates who apply directly for undergraduate courses should not only meet the basic requirements of ordinary recruitment 1, 3, 4 and 5, but also meet the provisions in the Administrative Measures for Selecting Excellent Undergraduate Graduates to Directly Study for Doctoral Degree in Nanchang University (Trial).

Doctoral enrollment is carried out in stages, that is, the enrollment, assessment and admission of undergraduate direct doctoral degree, postgraduate degree and "application-assessment" system are carried out first. The entrance examination for master's and doctor's students is implemented by the "application-examination" system, which is divided into two stages: qualification examination (material evaluation) and comprehensive examination.
Each training unit shall set up a qualification examination team to conduct a preliminary examination of the applicant's qualifications according to the application conditions. Set up a material review team composed of not less than 3 doctoral supervisors to review the candidate's application materials, and those who pass the review and have no objection will enter the comprehensive review link.
Each training unit shall organize no less than 5 doctoral tutors (including enrollment tutors) to form an assessment expert group to conduct a comprehensive assessment of candidates. The comprehensive assessment is divided into three aspects: foreign language proficiency test, professional basic assessment and comprehensive interview.
1. foreign language proficiency test: tests candidates' foreign language application ability, mainly assessing their foreign language writing, literature reading and oral communication ability.
2. Professional basic assessment: mainly assess the professional basic theory and professional knowledge of this discipline.
3. Comprehensive interview: To examine the candidates' ability to comprehensively apply what they have learned, their ability to innovate in scientific research, and their mastery of cutting-edge fields and the latest research trends. The main contents of ideological and political quality and moral evaluation include candidates' political attitude, ideological expression, study (work) attitude, moral quality, law-abiding, honesty and trustworthiness. The interview time for each candidate is not less than 30 minutes.
(3) General recruitment
The entrance examination for ordinary doctoral students is divided into two stages: initial examination and second examination.
The initial test time is to be determined, please pay attention to the notice on the website of graduate school in time. The preliminary subjects include: political theory (those who have obtained a master's degree and fresh graduates can apply for exemption), public English, and professional basic courses;
Re-examination time to be determined, re-examination subjects: professional courses, professional English, professional comprehensive interview.

1. Public English questions include vocabulary and structure, reading comprehension, English-Chinese translation and writing, with a full score of 100.
2. The retest score line includes the lowest line of single subject and the lowest line of total score.
3. After the preliminary examination and re-examination, the professional points of various disciplines put forward the proposed admission list within the planned number issued by the graduate school. The proposed admission list shall be reviewed by the graduate school and publicized after being approved by the graduate enrollment working group.
4. Candidates for orientation training to be admitted must go through the orientation training procedures within the time specified by our school (generally before June 15), otherwise they will not be admitted.
Seven, academic system, tuition and scholarships
(1) The doctoral program is 3 years (5 years for direct doctoral students and 3 years for doctoral students).
(2) The tuition standard for full-time academic doctoral students is 1 ,000 yuan per student per year, and that for full-time professional doctoral students is 1 per student per year, 500 yuan (to be determined).
(3) The school implements a scholarship system for full-time doctoral students with non-directional employment. Specifically including:
State grant: per student per year15,000 yuan, coverage rate 100%.
Scholarship: 10000 yuan per student per year, with a coverage rate of 100%.
National scholarship: 30,000 yuan per student per year, according to the number of places allocated by superiors in that year.

Eight, physical examination
The physical examination of candidates in secondary and above hospitals shall be carried out in accordance with the Physical Examination Standard for Postgraduates of Nanchang University (Revised) (Chang Da Xiao Fa [2003] No.22) and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Issues Related to Cancellation of Hepatitis B Test in Enrollment Physical Examination of Colleges and Universities (Teaching Hall [2010] No.2). In 2022, the number of doctoral students enrolled in targeted employment (except special programs) shall not exceed 20% of the total enrollment plans in principle. The admission category is chosen by the candidates according to their own conditions, and will not be changed after the admission category is determined. Among them, non-directional employment graduate students must transfer their personnel files to our school before entering school, and directional employment graduate students must sign a directional training agreement with our school and work unit before entering school.
(4) Candidates themselves should carefully check and confirm the online registration information. The registration information confirmed by the candidates shall not be modified during the examination, re-examination and admission, and all the consequences caused by the candidates' reporting errors shall be borne by them.
(five) the above documents conflict with the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education to recruit doctoral students, and the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education shall prevail.
(VI) In the normalization stage of epidemic prevention and control, the postgraduate entrance examination in our school will be conducted under the guidance of the latest requirements of epidemic prevention and control at higher levels.
