Where can I get a tour guide card?
(1) Examination subjects and scope

1. Examination subjects: There are still three subjects ("2+ 1" format) in the qualification examination for tour guides in our province this year, namely "Professional Knowledge of Tour Guides", "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guides" and "On-site Tour Guides". The total score of each subject 100, and all three subjects are qualified.

2. Definition of scope

In the course of "Tour Guide Business Knowledge", the scores of "Tour Guide Business" and "Policies, Regulations and Professional Ethics" each account for 50%, which increases the knowledge of current events and policies at home and abroad from June to August 2009;

In the course "Tour Guide Basis", the scores of "Guizhou Tour Guide Basis" and "National Tour Guide Basis" are 70% and 30% respectively;

"On-site Tour Guide" 12 Key lottery topics: Huangguoshu Scenic Area, Dragon Palace Scenic Area, Qianling Park, Zunyi Conference Site, Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area, Jiaxiulou, Tianlong Tunpu, Leishan Xijiang Scenic Area, Fanjingshan Scenic Area, Miao Culture, Dong Culture and Buyi Culture. In addition to Guiyang, candidates from other eight cities (prefectures) draw lots for on-site tour guide examinations, with the focus on national and some provincial tourist attractions (spots) in the region. The on-site tour guide exam still adheres to the principle of "drawing lots for one scenic spot and asking three questions". Registration procedure

Applicants must carefully fill in the Registration Form for the 2009 National Tour Guide Qualification Examination (Guizhou Examination Area) (attached table, or downloaded from the website of "Guizhou Travel Online" in dy.gz-travel.net), and attach a copy of my ID card and academic certificate when registering, with two one-inch photos bareheaded.

Candidates who have obtained the "Tour Guide Qualification Certificate" in Putonghua, who apply to try other languages, will try the "On-site Tour Guide" in their own language, and the registration procedures are the same as those for new candidates.

Candidates who apply for foreign languages in cities (prefectures) and candidates who have obtained the qualification certificate of Putonghua tour guides apply for additional foreign languages, and are only allowed to register at the test center of the Provincial Tourism Training Center (Guiyang) entrusted by the Provincial Tourism Bureau. (5) Time and place of registration

1. Registration time: August 18 to September 4 (closed on Saturday and Sunday). All localities should strictly abide by the deadline for registration.

2. Provincial registration point: Provincial Tourism Training Center (7th floor, Longquan Building, Hequn Road 1, Guiyang City; Tel: 690 1787, 6901699);

Registration point of Guiyang sub-test center: Guiyang Tourism Bureau (Office 505, fifth floor, Municipal Tourism Bureau Building, No.268 Beijing Road, Guiyang; Tel: 6508357).

Candidates outside Guiyang can register directly with the local city (state, prefecture) tourism bureau. (6) Application materials

This year's tour guide exam in our province still does not specify unified review materials. Candidates can refer to the training review materials compiled by the Provincial Tourism Bureau (2005 edition), Selected Comments on Chinese and English Tour Guides in Guizhou (2008 edition) and Selected Comments on Red Tour Guides in Guizhou (2008 edition). (7) Pre-test training

In order to help candidates do a good job in pre-test training, the pre-test training courses for provincial test sites are organized by provincial tourism training center (provincial tour guide service center), Guiyang tour guide service center, Da Gui University, People's College, Normal University, School of Finance, Tourism Department of Business School and other institutions, and the training and teaching plan shall be reported to the Provincial Tourism Bureau for the record. Where a city (prefecture) has teacher training and certain conditions for running a school, and the number of applicants is more than 50, it must submit the application report, teaching plan and curriculum arrangement to the Provincial Tourism Bureau for examination and approval. Around the training time shall not be less than two weeks. Attention should be paid to improving the training effect of on-site tour guides. Under the unified guidance of the Provincial Tourism Bureau, relevant experts and excellent tour guides are hired to explain and demonstrate in class or audio-visual education, and on-site tour guide training is effectively strengthened. The specific training time is determined by each unit and must be completed before June 20th 10. Candidates can choose the nearest training point on a voluntary basis. (8) Related expenses

According to the Fee Standard for Tour Guide Qualification Examination in Guizhou Province (Qian Jia Fei [2008] 148) approved by the price and finance departments of Guizhou Province, the registration fee for the tour guide qualification examination is 220 yuan/person. No unit shall raise the charging standard without authorization.
