Hubei University of Economics is a provincial ordinary undergraduate college with economic management as the main body and disciplines such as literature, law, engineering and teaching. Centennial history of the college:

Hubei University of Economics was established in March 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time provincial general undergraduate college merged by Hubei Business College, Wuhan Finance College and Hubei Provincial Planning and Management Cadre College.
