1) has a certain English foundation.
Almost every nurse will ask at the beginning: How high is English? How many points does IELTS need to go abroad? In fact, IELTS scores are not critical and unnecessary, and nurses do not need to submit them to ielts test report form when going abroad. But good English ability is essential. If your English level is about CET-6 or IELTS 5.5-6, dare to say that you are not dumb English and can basically communicate in spoken English, then you can basically meet the requirements of overseas customers.
However, in addition to everyday language, the most important thing is nursing English. This is especially important for nurses who work directly in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and other countries, because you need to obtain a nurse's certificate from the other country, and these are all done in English. Of course, the exam is not too difficult, because it is all multiple-choice questions. And this is our strong point in China.
IELTS scores need to be submitted for the "Training Abroad+Paid Internship" program in New Zealand, Canada, Britain, Ireland and other countries. Different projects in this different country have different language requirements. At least Ireland needs an IELTS score of 4.5, and New Zealand and Canada need more than 6, otherwise they need to cram English in language schools in advance.
2) Independent, adaptable, diligent and good at learning.
Being a registered nurse in developed countries, the benefits are really attractive. For example, a colleague of mine can earn more than 400,000 yuan a year as a nurse in Australia, not including overtime pay. In Australia, one person can support the whole family. But any success will not be so easy. To develop overseas, we should be fully prepared. The first half year of going abroad-1 year will be full of hardships. Language, cultural background, living habits, working environment, mentality of family and friends, etc. We need to bear it silently from the beginning and make unremitting efforts.
3) Have some clinical experience as a nurse.
Registered nurses in Singapore need at least one year of work experience, and registered nurses need more than three years of work experience. Although Saudi officials require more than two years' work experience, many nurses from China actually go out as soon as they graduate, and some even go out before graduation under the guidance of unscrupulous intermediaries and schools. But personally, I think domestic work experience is very important, otherwise it is really difficult for you to adapt to it when you go abroad, and the language is inherently problematic. If you are not proficient in your major, your colleagues, superiors and doctors will easily find that you are a "novice".
Therefore, for those nurses who have no registered work experience, if you get an overseas job, find a hospital immediately to strengthen their business skills. It doesn't matter if you don't get paid, it's important to gain experience.
4) Have the necessary economic foundation.
If you want to work as a nurse in Singapore, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, 20,000-40,000 RMB is enough. If you want to go to Canada, New Zealand and other places to be a nurse, the initial cost of obtaining a registered nurse qualification in the local RN and then getting a job is 200,000-250,000, and the establishment of 300,000 is the most secure. Although you have a stable part-time job overseas, you can earn enough living expenses and tuition fees, but it is important that your family can provide so many proof of funds to the visa officer in the early stage to get a study visa.
