In order to improve the level of campus football activities in Kaiyuan City, the China Football Association's D-level football coach training class was recently held by the Kaiyuan School Foot Office. This training course is taught by Zhang Hui and Zhang, coaches and lecturers appointed by China Football Association. * * * There are 25 physical education teachers and after-school football instructors in designated schools in Kaiyuan.

Courses are divided into theoretical courses, practical courses and assessment courses. Theoretical courses include the introduction of AFC/China Football Association's training policy, the principles of warm-up activities, the contents and procedures of designing a training course, the characteristics of teenagers' development, the quality of coaches and so on. Practical courses include warm-up, competition and analysis, ball quality, ball feeling and dribbling, breakthrough, dribbling, catching, ball control, short pass, long pass, organizing a football festival and so on. The assessment courses include the referee rules test, the training theory test and the actual team-leading level test. Students with excellent assessment results will be eligible to participate in a higher level of coaching training.

During the seven days, the students listened to the lecturer carefully and actively studied the course, and the training level was greatly improved. The training course strengthened the construction of football coaches in Kaiyuan Campus, especially absorbed 13 people with high football training level, and made up for the shortage of football training teachers in schools in Kaiyuan area.
