Determination and patience are the guarantee of becoming a pastry chef.
The first step is to find a professional teacher or school, which is very important. The bad habit of China people is that teachers teach their apprentices with reservations, and few teachers really teach without reservations. If you have the conditions to study abroad, it is recommended to go to an established prestigious school. Learning the basics at school requires a lot of practice and work experience, so I have the opportunity to communicate with my peers.
The second step is to find a better place to practice after studying, and don't go to chain stores. They are all assembly lines, and you can't learn much. You can go to a well-known store, or you can go to a five-star hotel bakery in a big city in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen for an internship or work. Of course, you have to go to these places for internship, provided that a good teacher will recommend you.
The third step is to go out and see more and communicate more. If you stay in one place for too long, your vision is limited. It is best to have exchanges in the industry, know more experts in the same industry and participate in baking exhibitions. Every year, suppliers of imported raw materials will invite French MOF or international famous teachers from other places to make demonstrations in China and seize these opportunities.
Second, the training school requirements
Being a pastry chef does not limit the diploma, and there is no clear requirement for height, vision and appearance. I mainly like this industry and love cooking, so I can learn.
Three. Certificates issued by training schools and their validity
Generally, it will be awarded: the national OSTA senior West Point teacher qualification certificate, and the college and undergraduate education recognized by the state.
Fourth, the requirements for applying for a pastry chef

3. Skilled in West Point production technology, able to independently complete West Point production.
