College has been awarded the titles of National Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute, Action-oriented Teaching Experimental Base, Provincial High-skilled Talents Training Demonstration Base, Suzhou Shortage Talents Training Base, Suzhou Civilized Unit, etc. The development of the college has been concerned and supported by leaders at all levels. Vice Minister Zhang Xiaojian of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Vice Minister Lu Xin of the Ministry of Education, leaders of the provincial government, municipal party committee and municipal government, leaders of ministries and agencies, and leaders of national counterparts came to the college to guide the work, expressing their appreciation for the rapid development, integrated teaching environment, high-standard equipment configuration and high employment rate of the college. The college has become a well-known technical college in China, and its main professional level, training base level and teachers' teaching and scientific research level have entered the first phalanx in China. Especially in the past two years, the college has made innovation and development, strengthened its strength and greatly improved its social reputation. The goal of establishing an "innovative, efficient and brand" technician college has been basically achieved. Under the new situation of all-round social progress, continuous economic development and continuous adjustment of industrial structure, all faculty members of the College are adhering to the concept of "Qi Xin cooperates with each other to run a first-class school" and are constantly pursuing new leaps with the spirit of hard work.

In order to give full play to the role and advantages of socialized vocational qualification training, with the approval of the Municipal Labor and Social Security Bureau, 1994 established the National Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute, and the training center was established in 2004. Relying on the existing teaching facilities and teaching staff of Suzhou Technician College, we have carried out vocational qualification training for electricians, electronics, numerical control and fitters at the junior, middle and senior levels. The training center of Suzhou Technician College takes the quality policy of "providing high-quality education services, creating superior education environment, cultivating excellent skilled personnel and pursuing excellent social reputation", implements multi-level school running, and has trained a large number of outstanding high-skilled personnel for our city, and has been rated as an advanced unit for training high-skilled personnel in Suzhou for many times. At the same time, the training center actively participates in the society, and has been awarded "Suzhou designated institution for skills training of migrant workers" and "Suzhou re-employment training base" by Suzhou. With the completion of the public training base, it is estimated that the number of training appraisers can reach 10000 person-times.
