How to graft plum blossoms?
1. Bud grafting: Plum blossoms are often grafted in northern China. Choose robust branches of 1-2 years old, and use round axillary buds at the upper end as scions. First cut a knife in the cross section of the area about 0.5 cm above the axillary bud, and the deep layer will reach the phloem. Then, cut vertically from the upper and lower areas, cut into a shield shape, flatten the reverse side, and remove its phloem. Cut a T-shaped incision in the 5-6 cm high area of the rootstock, insert the scion into it and tie it tightly with plastic strips.

2. Split: Split is very simple. Break the top of the rootstock from the middle, 2-3 cm deep. Choose plum branches with healthy growth and development, preferably with buds on them, which are generally smaller than rootstocks. Cut its bottom into a wedge shape, then insert it into the incision of the rootstock, and tie the capsule tightly with plastic film to prevent gas and water from entering.

3. Abdominal grafting: The method of abdominal grafting is similar to bud grafting, which moves obliquely from the outer skin of the rootstock and does not stop opening, and the depth is 2-3 cm. Choose the right branches, generally not too long, cut the bottom into a wedge shape, insert them into the incision of the rootstock to ensure that the arc layer caters, and then bind them with plastic film.
