Shanghai Metro Line 23 is expected to be completed in 2027.

According to the route planning, Shanghai Rail Transit Line 23 is underground, with a total length of about 28.6 kilometers. There are 22 stations, including 5 transfer stations. The line connects Minhang Development Zone, Zizhu High-tech Zone, Wujing Transition Zone, Xuhui Riverside District and other important areas, passing through Minhang District and Xuhui District.

This line is of great significance for strengthening the rail transit service between Laominhang and the urban area and promoting the development of southwest Pupu.

Specifically, Jiangchuan East Road Station on Line 23 is an island station on the second floor underground, located in Wujing Town, Minhang District. The main station is located underground of Dongchuan Road. The station is 220.7 meters long and 25.54 meters wide. The station has completed 90 underground continuous walls. The first underground continuous wall reinforcement cage is 35.35 meters long, with a design wall height of 36. 1 m, a groove width of 6 meters and a thickness of 0.8 meters. It is planned to pour concrete176m3.

The station is adjacent to Zizhu Peninsula Garden Community, and there are two entrances and exits on the north and south sides of Dongchuan Road, which will bring great convenience to Zizhu Peninsula Community and its surrounding areas after completion.
