Guizhou Food Engineering Vocational College is a full-time public general higher vocational college headed by Guizhou Grain and Material Reserve Bureau of Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The school-running and historical evolution of the College experienced Guizhou Grain School aided by Shanghai Grain School 1953.

Guizhou Vocational College of Food Engineering was established on the basis of Guizhou Economic and Trade School. The funds for running schools are mainly invested by provincial finance.
