Application conditions

6. The applicant should contact the receiving institution by himself, and has obtained an official invitation letter from the Finnish institution or tutor when applying.

7. Before applying for this scholarship to study in Finland, I stayed in Finnish higher education institutions for no more than one year.

8. The foreign language proficiency at the time of application must meet one of the following conditions:

(1) Bachelor degree or above in English, Swedish or Finnish.

(2) Having studied abroad in Britain, Sweden or Finland for one academic year (8- 12 months) or working continuously for more than one year (inclusive) in the last ten years.

(3)PETS5 score: The total score of written test is above 55 (inclusive), including listening 18 (inclusive) and speaking 3 (inclusive).

(4) Participated in the advanced English class training of the overseas study training department designated by the Ministry of Education, and obtained the certificate of completion.

(5) IELTS (Academic) 6.5 or TOEFL (IBT)95 or above (within the validity period).

(6) Meet the language requirements through interviews and examinations for studying abroad organized by other units. It should be indicated in the Finnish admission notice/official invitation letter or sent separately.
