Guangwai International College was established in 1980, specializing in short-term intensive foreign language training. It is one of the 1 1 public education departments directly under the Ministry of Education, and it is also a high-level management talent designated by Guangdong Provincial Party Committee (1999) and Guangzhou Municipal Committee (1998). With China's entry into WTO and increasing foreign exchanges, the training department undertakes more and more training tasks for key enterprises and institutions and public students. The main task of the training department is to provide intensive foreign language training for foreign students, lay a solid foreign language foundation for their life and study abroad, and improve their foreign language communication ability.
