The summer vacation in 2023 is about to begin. In order to ensure that teachers, students and employees of kindergartens in primary and secondary schools in the city have a safe, substantial and meaningful holiday, the relevant work on summer vacation is hereby notified as follows:

First of all, holiday time

1. The summer holidays for kindergartens, primary schools and junior high schools are from July 2nd to August 3rd1.

2. The summer vacation time of ordinary senior high schools is: July1April-August 3 1.

Second, the relevant requirements

(1) Do a good job in safety. All schools should do a good job in school safety. Hold a safety theme class meeting before the holiday, and carry out special safety education for all teachers and students focusing on prevention of drowning, fire safety, traffic travel, prevention of telecommunication network fraud, food hygiene, home safety and outdoor activities;

Carry out a major investigation of hidden dangers in campus security and make use of holidays to make timely rectification. During the holidays, we should continue to carry out safety reminders to enhance the safety awareness of students and parents; Remind parents of students to earnestly perform their guardianship duties; It is necessary to strengthen uninterrupted inspections of campus safety and key parts, properly handle emergencies in a timely manner, and ensure the safety and stability of the city's education system.

(2) Strictly implement the "double drop" policy. Schools in all compulsory education stages should strictly implement the policy of "double reduction", and the total amount of homework should be arranged according to the amount of homework around primary schools (grades three to six) and junior high schools for six weeks, and schools should ensure the same amount of homework in the same grade.

In addition to knowledge review, homework also includes classic reading, aesthetic education study, physical exercise, and labor homework suitable for students' age. Schools are encouraged to arrange social practice homework for students.

(3) Encourage the development of summer outreach services. Encourage primary and secondary schools to make full use of school education resources, venues and teachers, and carry out sports, art, science and technology, humanities and other expansion activities during the summer vacation to enrich students' summer life.

However, collective remedial classes are not allowed, and advanced teaching, over-class teaching and centralized examinations are carried out in violation of regulations; No primary school, kindergarten or social training institution may set up pre-school classes or young bridging classes to impart primary school knowledge to newly enrolled children in advance; It is strictly forbidden for in-service teachers in primary and secondary schools to participate in or participate in paid remedial classes outside the school in disguise; Any off-campus training institution shall not use the summer vacation time to organize discipline training.

(4) Strengthen duty work. During the summer vacation, all units should strictly implement the 24-hour duty and leadership shift system, arrange special personnel to be on duty to ensure smooth communication, and the Municipal Education Bureau will conduct spot checks on the duty of all units. During the summer vacation, irrelevant personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the campus, and the registration system for personnel on duty at school is implemented.
