How to train Labradors?
Labrador is a dog with a strong habit. In other words, if the host clearly tells it where it should be convenient and controls its convenient time by controlling the intake of food and water, you will find that it will be a pleasant and relatively reassuring time to get along. The most common mistake a master makes when raising a Labrador is that he cannot be consistent. First of all, it is important to choose a training method that suits you and your pet. It is also important to stick to this method. Many people who lack patience and perseverance have tried training, but the result is often that your pet can't get systematic and complete training. Therefore, here you are required to always keep in mind the three P rules: persistence, patience and praise. These three points are the fundamental guarantee of success. There are three ways to train your Labrador at home: 1. On the method of literature. Although this method is suitable for both adult dogs and puppies, it is more ideal for puppies. To use this method, you must first choose a suitable place for your pet at home until the training is successful. Make sure that there are no items in the room that are easily damaged by dogs. Pets are convenient on your floor and will not cause lasting damage to your floor. The ideal room is a bathroom or a kitchenette. Once you have chosen the location, cover all the floors in this area with newspapers. If your dog is small, it will be more convenient than when it grows up. So at the beginning, you must be prepared for the trouble caused by this feature. At the beginning, as long as the pet is convenient, change the newspaper as soon as possible. This will help pets to establish their own territory as soon as possible, and also help you find out where pets like it faster. At first, it may be convenient for your pet to be in different parts of the room, but as the pet gradually adapts to the room, it will choose a fixed place that it likes. Once the pet chooses a convenient place, it can remove all the newspapers from other parts of the room, leaving only enough convenient places to cover it. The newspaper you spread must be large enough not to be convenient for pets outside the newspaper. Once pets are convenient in areas other than newspapers, you need to spread more newspapers. Remember to praise the pet as soon as it is convenient in its fixed place. The more praise your pet gets in the right place instead of on the carpet, the faster it can be trained successfully. After pets get into the habit of being convenient on the newspaper instead of on the floor, they can transfer the newspaper to the place you want it to be convenient (such as a place outside your house) after systematic training. Gradually move the newspaper to the target position, not too far at a time. Once moving the newspaper disturbs your pet, you'd better not move more than an inch every day until the newspaper reaches its destination. When your pet understands that it can only be convenient in newspapers, and you have moved the newspapers to a fixed location outside, it will be much easier for the owner to manage the pet's behavior. After the newspaper is completely taken away, the pet will automatically go to the area where the newspaper was originally laid, and tell you by smelling or circling that it wants to go out conveniently. 2. Box training method. This method is suitable for adult dogs and puppies, and may be the most effective and efficient of all family training methods. All Labradors don't want to be convenient in the area where they think they live, so unless they are kept in a pet box for too long, they generally won't be convenient in their own boxes. Once an hour, tie your Labrador with a rope loop and take it for a walk wherever you want. If it's inconvenient in 5 minutes, continue to get your box back and stay for another hour. In another hour, the pets that were inconvenient last time will basically be convenient this time. Once the pet arrives at the designated place, remember to praise it and bring it back to its box. The joy in your voice when you praise him will let the pet know that this is where you want him to be convenient. Once confirmed, the pet will try to be convenient and please you in a fixed place. When you think your pet knows where it is convenient to go, you can shorten the time it is kept in the box and gradually expand its range of activities outside the box. As long as you ensure that the space you expand every time is suitable, you can make your pet clearly aware that your space is constantly expanding, and at the same time increase your awareness of keeping your space clean and tidy. Finally, you can let your pet walk around the whole house, but it will take a long time to train to make sure that it knows how to keep the house clean and tidy. 3. The defecation dish method. This method is very successful for puppy training, but it also has certain effect for adult dogs. Similar to the newspaper law, this method must first choose a restricted area, such as the kitchen or bathroom. Although you can use the traditional cat poop tray to solve this problem, now pet stores also sell special trays for dogs, which are somewhat different in shape and larger than those used by cats. At the same time, you can also buy special newspapers and sand to spread on the plate. The first step, like the newspaper method, is to spread the newspaper on the whole floor of the room and change it constantly until the pet chooses the convenient area he likes. After about two weeks, the pet began to use the toilet in a place close to the size of a toilet, put the toilet on the floor and put the newspaper in it. Remember to praise your pet after it goes to the toilet. It will take this as a correct habit and get used to it gradually. After it is used to being convenient in the toilet, you can change the newspaper in the bowl into sand if you like. As time goes by, gradually increase the amount of sand until the newspaper is completely replaced by sand. If you choose this method, you should clean the bedpan every time the pet is convenient, because it will be inconvenient to put it in a dirty place. If you can't insist on this, your pet will be more convenient on the floor and training will be ineffective. Stick to any of the above three methods, and you can get a trained Labrador. Labrador ranks seventh in the IQ of dogs. Most dogs ranked in 1- 10 will understand the meaning of the new instruction after five times and remember it easily. When the owners give it, the probability of their compliance is higher than 95%. In addition, even if the owner is far away, they will respond within a few seconds after hearing the instructions. Even if the people who train them are inexperienced, they can learn well. Training dogs don't understand what people say and the meaning of every word, but they are very sensitive to people's tone and gestures. Therefore, when training dogs to obey, we must use a firm tone and cooperate with hand movements. For example, a dog at home barks when he hears someone outside the door, which is not only a rude behavior, but also affects the rest of his family. At this time, you should immediately hold the dog's mouth with your hand, shake your head and say "no" in a very positive tone. After several trainings, it will understand that this is wrong. Some dog owners spoil their dogs. Instead of using a firm tone to correct this situation, they stroked the dog with their hands and whispered "Don't be so naughty", so that the dog could easily misunderstand that the owner was encouraging it. Whether it is praise or prohibition, it must be done on the spot, otherwise times have changed and the expected results will not be achieved. When sitting down for training, let the dog stand on the left side of the owner, at the same time, lift the collar with the right hand and press the dog's waist corner with the left hand (see figure). When the dog is forced to sit down under this mechanical stimulus, it should be rewarded immediately. After repeated training, dogs can develop the action of sitting down. On this basis, combined with gestures for training. If you sit in front, your right arm stretches forward, your forearm is vertical upward, and your palm is "L" shaped forward; If you sit on your left, pat your left abdomen with your left hand. If the dog can sit well, it should be gradually trained to extend the sitting time, from sitting for 3-5 seconds until it is extended to more than 5 minutes. The action of lying down should be carried out after learning the action of "sitting" There are two ways to train: first, the owner is on the right side of the dog, facing the dog, holding food in his right hand, slowly moving downward from the top of the dog's mouth, and at the same time giving the password to lie down, pulling the traction belt downward to give stimulation. At this time, under the stimulation of food and machinery, the dog can make the action of lying down, and when the dog lies down, it will be rewarded with food in time. In the future, with the formation of conditioned reflex, rewards and stimuli will be gradually cancelled. Another way is to let the dog down. The owner should squat down, hold the dog's two forelimbs with both hands, stretch forward, and press the dog's scapula with his left arm, so that the dog can be trained in gestures within a certain distance, improve its action level, extend the command distance, and persist in lying down for more than 5 minutes according to the master's password and gestures. During the standing training, the shilling dog sits down, then gently lifts the leash, and sends out the command and gesture of "standing" (the right arm is extended towards the dog, and the palm is up). When the dog stands up, it will be rewarded. The owner should gradually leave the dog's side and let the dog stand longer. On this basis, gradually cultivate the ability to stand by gestures or passwords for a certain period of time% d% a
