"Red Cross Angel Project" is a key public welfare project of China Red Cross Foundation since August 2005. In the past two years, the project has made great progress in fundraising and funding, and its content has been continuously improved and enriched, and it has become one of the most famous public welfare brands in China. In April 2008, "Red Cross Angel Project" won the highest government award in the field of charity in China-the most influential charity project of the 2007 China Charity Award. At present, the "Red Cross Angel Project" has been initially formed in three aspects: building rural fraternity hospitals (stations), training rural doctors, and providing serious illness relief to poor farmers and children. There are two modes of assistance, direct donation and free treatment and assistance through subsidized equipment in designated hospitals. The types of serious illness relief include leukemia, congenital heart disease, cerebral palsy, progressive muscular dystrophy, cleft lip and palate, blindness, deafness, cancer, heart disease, urban sub-health and so on.
The main goal of the "fraternity aid program" is to help rural areas in poor areas improve teaching conditions and help children from poor families go to college. It mainly includes four aspects, namely: aiding the construction of Boai Primary School; Donate ABO computer classroom; Donate "Red Cross stacks"; Set up fraternity scholarships to help children from poor families go to college.
