2. tonghua normal University is the only provincial undergraduate college in the southeast of Jilin Province. Jilin Teachers College of Engineering and Technology is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is the first full-time undergraduate normal college in China that specializes in training teachers for vocational secondary schools and vocational high schools. It has been designated as the national key vocational education teacher training base by the Ministry of Education, the leading unit of the province's vocational education teacher security system by the Jilin Provincial People's Government, and the key vocational education teacher base by the long-term education reform and development plan of Jilin Province.
4. baicheng normal University is the only provincial undergraduate college in the west of Jilin Province, located at the intersection of Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia provinces. The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as baicheng normal College. In August 2000, Baicheng Forestry School, which was originally affiliated to the State Forestry Administration, merged. In March 2002, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed baicheng normal College. In 2007, it began to jointly train graduate students with Northeast Normal University. In 2008, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
