Provisions on Safety Training of Production and Business Units (Order No.80 of the State Administration of Work Safety) Article 13 The safety training time for new employees of production and business units before taking up their posts shall not be less than 24 hours. The safety training time for new employees in coal mines, non-coal mines, dangerous chemicals, fireworks, metal smelting and other production and business units shall not be less than 72 hours, and the annual retraining time shall not be less than 20 hours.

Coal mine employees are those who are engaged in coal mining. First-line, second-line, supervisor and leader can all be called coal mine employees.
