China Table Tennis Academy was named the highest affiliated training base of ITTF, and established the International Handball Academy and the IAAF Special Training Certification Center with the International Handball Federation and IAAF respectively. It is an earlier institution specializing in physical education in China, with about 8,000 students and more than 900 graduate students. Jointly run schools with the Head Baseball Center of the State Sports General Administration to train graduate students, and jointly train doctoral students with Shanghai Institute of Physical Education.
