In developed countries in Europe and America, sign language, as a communication tool and language expression, has been mastered by many hard of hearing people, which reflects the respect, care and humanistic spirit of deaf people in these countries and also shows the degree of civilization of a country. With the continuous development of China's socialist construction and the continuous improvement of social civilization, caring for vulnerable groups has gradually become a social trend. Deaf people, as a vulnerable group, have attracted more and more attention from all sectors of society. However, not knowing sign language has become an obstacle for many people in society to communicate with the deaf, and it has also become a barrier for many window industries to serve the deaf. Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing in 2008. By then, disabled athletes from all over the world will come to Beijing, including a large number of deaf people. The host Beijingers have the responsibility to provide sign language services for them. Therefore, learning sign language and serving the deaf is the aspiration of many volunteers. As the Dragon Art Training School sponsored by Beijing No.2 School for the Deaf, considering this social demand, it decided to set up a sign language training class to popularize sign language for the deaf and improve the social service level.
