In order to adapt to the development of China's radio and television industry and meet the needs of on-the-job radio and television announcers and program hosts to learn and improve their professional knowledge and skills, broadcasting and hosting College of Communication University of China held a refresher course in 2009 to train broadcasting and hosting professionals for grass-roots radio stations, television stations and relevant social departments.

First, the training object and enrollment conditions

On-the-job personnel of radio and television system and other personnel with professional potential who are ready to engage in broadcasting and hosting work. Students must meet the following requirements:

1. Adhere to the Four Cardinal Principles, abide by laws and regulations, and have no bad records.

2. graduated from high school or above.

3. On-the-job announcers, presenters (who can be exempted from the examination with the proof of their work units) or other personnel with professional potential (who need to pass the entrance examination).

Second, the curriculum.

Specialized courses and related basic courses, such as Putonghua pronunciation, broadcasting host pronunciation skills, broadcasting host art creation foundation, radio and television broadcasting art, broadcasting host art, TV makeup modeling, introduction to aesthetics, communication, news interview writing, reading guide of literary masterpieces, basic knowledge of linguistics, etc. Specialized courses are equipped with small classes taught separately or in small classes.
